My name is Aimee Casio, I am 30 y/o and from Philippines. I am currently working here in Singapore as a Domestic Helper of a small chinese family. I came here last May 2009 and my contract will end this May 2011. I am a single mother of two boys, ages 7 and 5. I raised them on my own because unfortunately things did'nt work out between me and their father. And when my eldest turned 5 I decided to come here. I also experienced babysitting and nannying when I was younger for my siblings children for they helped me pay my school fees back then to finish a two year vocational course in college.. And now apart from doing every household chores I also look after a 12 y/o chinese boy. I can say that being exposed on different age group of kids from infant to grown ups I believe I can do well . I am really keen of looking after kids for I used to dream when I was younger to found a child care center. And unfortunately that dream was shattered, but since I came working here I somehow make up for it. I am active and energetic, I really liked singing, playing and being w/ kids. I am a mother also and I know how a parent feels that whenever they leave the house they are confident that their child will be nourish physically, emotionally and mentally w/ care.
