Volunteering in a Primary School
From the age of 16 I have regularly gone into a local Primary school and assisted teachers within the class environment. I have listened to children read, gone on school trips and helped the children with different tasks. This has allowed me to see how the children develop and given me imaginative ideas to stimulate childrens learning.

Babysitting and Day care
I started babysitting at the age of 14, having the responsibility for children of various ages, ranging from newborn -13 years old. In the summer of 2010 I was a regular mother's help, assisting the mother with a newborn baby. This job requires responsibility for others, trustworthiness and reliability. I have regularly organised fun and educational days out for children. Quite often the role involves me cooking for the children, bathing them and putting them to bed. I believe I am a fun, enthusiastic person who enjoys working with children. I am firm but fair and love being a part of a childs development.
