Heather Jones
I am a 21 year old student currently in between my 3rd and 4th year of university. I am studying speech and language therapy and have a CRB police check. I can offer babysitting or childminding services.
I have worked with a range of children from ages 3 to teenage years. From placements on my university course I have also worked with children who have special needs and more frequently those children with speech and communication difficulties.
I currently also help to run a girl guide company where the girls are aged between 10 and 14.
2 years a go I worked as an assistant at a special needs nursery, which took place every saturday morning. My job was to interact and play with 1 child each week who had moderate to severe learning disabilities. The children were aged between 3 and 9 years old.
Between the ages of 16 and 18 I tutored two teenage girls to help them with key stage 3 and 4 science.
I have also had work experience for a month as a teaching assistant in a primary school where I worked in a reception, year 2, year 3, year 4 and year 6 class.
