I am currently a room leader in a nursery.
My aim within my childcare career is to give the children in my care the best, fun and nurturing experience.
I love what I do and find it so rewarding. I enjoy being with the children outside and exploring nature, as well as getting messy and creative. I have been working with children for just over five years, and have loved every minute of it
I am a very well presented and organised person who likes a challenge; I have very good communication, team building, management and customer relation skills and work well with anyone. Im out going, a fast learner and always interested in learning new things. I am outgoing, honest, polite and an enthusiastic person.
I believe I work very well within a team, as well as on my own and can organise and motivate the staff in a team well.
I also have 9 years experience babysitting for family and friends alongside my childcare career, with children aged 0 to 12 years old.
I have learnt a lot in all the roles I have played in the last few years, and I will take that into any role in the future.

Duties: I have been room leader for neraly 2 years and I have 5 other members of staff in the room. I oversea the day to day running of the room, under the supervision of management. I sort rotas, duties, lunch breaks, oversea and do child observations, also follow the Early Years Curriculum.
I work towards ensuring the room is a safe, healthy and enjoyable environment for all the children in our care.
I also make sure health and safety cheacks are done.
While I was studying for my level 2 in childcare, I also worked in another day nursery for 18 months. My duties were similar to the role I have now without the room leader exp.

Majorca
Duties: working behind the bar in the hotel, serving guests drinks and snacks, cleaning glasses, talking to guests and answering any questions they had. Also I worked with the childrens entertainment team doing activities with the children throughout the day.
