My name is Lavinia, I am a 23 year old Australian female. I have been living in NSW since August 2009. I chose to move here from Tasmania which is where I grow up. My highest level of education was the completion of year 12 which I attended at Launceston College in Launceston. I have completed the following achievements since finishing my schooling; Certificate III in cleaning, certificate II in sewing, certificate II in hairdressing and a cert II in business admin. I have also worked in hospitality where I developed a high level of skill in customer service, kitchen hand, food preparation and as a barista. I consider myself a clean and tidy, punctual, well presented person who likes to get the job done. I am very honest, reliable, caring and enjoy been able to help others.
In the year 2011 my goal is to work in childcare and I am really looking forward to it.I do already possess some previous experience in childcare as I commenced this type of work at 15 year old, since then I have looked after children of all ages. Duties I have been required to perform included preparing and cooking meals, cleaning, bathing as well as games and activities with the children. I have also taken in (lived with ) a 16 year old girl with a 1 year old baby. I became very involved with taking care of the child as she was a young first time mother I really enjoy being around children and being able to watch them learn and grow. Since I have moved to NSW I have had numerous jobs doing babysitting/nanny and have some reputable referees that will be happy to provide a reference detailing my previous positions in their families. I believe a good relationship with the parents is of paramount importance, I always make sure I know what the parents require of me while I am taking care of their babies so they do not worry. I am willing to work with children of any age at anytime of the day or night. I am also willing to take jobs at the last minute if required. I have my full drivers licence and a clean driving record as well as a reliable car if after school pick-up or any other transport is required.
