I am currently working at Sussex house nursery which is a part of Brighton health care NHS trust, I am based in the 2-3 years room and responsibilities are similar to those listed below at early years childcare. I am responsible for my own group of key children and plan and observe around the early years foundation stage planning curriculum.
I have so far attended training on conflict resolution, baby resuscitation and child protection.

This is a nursery consisting of children aged from 0-5years, I worked full time based in a room of children aged 2-5 years where I support their care and learning.
My Main roles and responsibilities consisted of the following:
To contribute to the creation of an environment which provides for the well-being of all the children attending the nursery
To be involved in team planning of appropriate activities to ensure that the children's developmental needs are met
To be responsible for the welfare of a group of children, as directed by senior members of staff
To contribute to the observation and assessment of the children's developmental stages, recording this on the relevant documents
To work in partnership with the parents/carers to encourage open communication and involvement within the nursery setting

I have training on and use the early years foundation stage (eyfs) in which i implement into my care and routine with the children and their individual planning.
I started off as an assistant within this company and continued to then gain my level 2 and 3 with the company. As a level 3 practitioner I also have a level 2 student in my room in which i am a role model to and support them in their learning in childcare. I also have extra responsibilities within the setting which include festival co-ordinator and monitoring and recording accidents and sickness within the setting.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Since 31/12/2009 I have worked for Hays education agency and have been based in moulscoomb jump start nursery within the baby room.
During my time with early years childcare since November 2006, I have attended all available training programmes and was based within a room of children aged 2-5years alongside this I have also had opportunities of working with the other children aged 0-2 years in the setting. My experience therefore concludes of working with young children and knowledge of observation and planning using the relevant curriculum. See above for more details.
Before this i attended Lewes College and only had a part time telesales job which no longer exists, the companys name was satellite direct, where i obtained phone and computer communicational skills.
