My tasks involved personal care such as assisting patients with their personal hygiene, helping them to the toilet, and making beds up. I also handed out the meals, and assisted patients who need extra help at meal times.

As a nursery assistant I worked alongside nursery nurses helping them with their job. I would change nappies, sing with the children, read stories, give babies there bottles, and feed them at meal times. Generally keep them safe and happy. I also had a day that I cooked for the children once a week. All nursery staff took turns in keeping the nursery clean and tidy to a high standard.

In my roll as the lunchtime supervisor I would cover the other members of staff on breaks and lunches. I worked with children aged 0-5, this included giving bottles, feeding them, changing nappies, taking children to the bathroom, Putting children to bed, and comforting them when theyre upset. I would also encourage the children in their learning and play.

In the childrens centre I would read stories, play games with the children. I would also supervise alongside the other staff on days out. Help out at meal and snack times and made sure the children were safe and happy.
Dec 09-Sep 10 Mangetout old hall street Liverpool My duties included preparing fresh food such as freshly made coleslaw, tuna mayonnaise, assorted pastas, and a whole range of other fresh food as well as preparing back up food for storage. My other duties were serving customers with hot food, hot drinks and sandwiches, also preparing the grab and go section. I also made sure crisps chocolate and cold drinks were stocked up. Maintaining a clean workplace, cleaning work surfaces to a high standard an keeping paper work up to date.

I currently work as a waitress in a busy childrens play centre, dealing with alot of high demanding customers, my roles include using the till for food and drink orders. I also make hot drinks and serve them to customers, as well as collecting food from a busy kitchen to serve to customers. I also socialise with the children and parents to make sure they are happy and looked after and any complaints or issues they have are delt with in a professional manner. My duties also include looking after the children on the climbing frames making sure there safe. I also assist the other staff when large parties are booked in to keep the kids entertained and making sure there all happy. All staff including myself make sure at the end of every shift the play centre is cleaned to a very high standard ready for the next day.
Interests
I enjoy dancing, listening to music. I also like to Socialise with friends, and meet new people. I also really enjoy reading.
Volunteer Experience
Duke of Edinburgh Award, we raised money for the charity CHICS. We went on sponsored walks, played in football matches and also took part in boat races. At the end we went on a camping trip.
