Additional Info:

I am a student Midwife studying at Edinburgh Napier University. This itself, has furthered my experience in working with babies.

I am a caring, energetic and enthusiastic person with a passion for working with children. I love challenges, have plenty of patience and I would love to work in a busy house with plenty of things to do!

My Experience
On a weekly basis, I volunteer for a family with two very young children which allows the parents to have a break.

Previously, I have worked in a nursery in the Southside of Glasgow in the baby room and loved all the day to day tasks and challenges I was faced with.

I have had several babysitting jobs in past for friends and family.
I have also been employed as a child minder for a family of 3 children of mixed ages during the summer months.

In 2009, I volunteered in an orphanage in Ghana in Africa working with babies from newborns to young adults.

My Qualifications
I have three police disclosures- one for working in the nursery, one for the FirstHand (the organisation I volunteer for) and one for my Midwifery course.

I have had First Aid training for children, babies and adults.

I have also had Manual handling training and training in managing violence and aggressive behaviour.
