My name is Amanda Miller, and I am 19 years old. I'm a college student of Lycoming College. I'm a 4.0 student pursuing a major in English-Literature and teaching certification, with a double minor in Biblical Languages and Spanish. I am fluent in English and Spanish and quite familiar with American Sign Language.
When it comes to experience with children, I have worked one-on-one and in groups with all ages. I have three younger brothers who I have often babysat (ages 15, 10, and 6), I have fulfilled the position of Church Nursery attendant at my church, I run an elementary school youth group at my church by my college, for the past two summers I have volunteered with the JCC's summer day camp, specifically with the autistic children, at school I work at the Salvation Army as a tutor/mentor for at-risk kids from K-8th grade, and finally, I was just employed at the YMCA to work as a camp counselor at the outdoors day camp for this summer. I have my state and federal clearances, as well, and I am CPR and first aid certified. I also have my own form of transportation.
I especially enjoy working with special needs or mentally challenged children.

Fees

$ 9.00 Dollars Per Hour
I don't charge hourly all the time. For example, if your children are sleeping for several hours, it wouldn't be fair for me to charge that much. Very negotiable rates, anyway. =)
