Additional Info:

My names Claire; I’m a 19 years old in my 2nd year of a Bach. ED (early childhood and primary teaching). I love kids and have been babysitting for around 5 years now. I have babysat ages ranging from 11 mths up to 13 yrs. As well as this I have worked in the nursery room in a childcare centre (0 - 12 mths) as part of placement for uni and have just finished in a kindergarten. For both placements I was in one day each week for the semester (12wks) and then a 2-4 week block at the end - going in everyday. So I have also had experience with a range of different needs, routines and personalities!
In saying that I am studying in Ballarat (currently on holidays until August), my family does live in Melbourne (Hawthorn) so I am back here very regularly (classes only on Tues, Wed and Thurs).
I have my working with children’s check, have done a first aid course and have my police check. I do not yet have my driver’s licence but love walking and am very comfortable with taking public transport.
