Hi :)
My name is Emma and I have just moved to Edinburgh from Dublin in order to study Paedatric Nursing for 3yrs at Napier Uni.
I am 28yrs old and have worked as a Play specialist in Irelands leading Children's Hospital for 6yrs with 2yrs spent volunteering in Vietnam and working in Australia.
In order to fund myself through Uni I am looking for as much work with children in their own homes/hospitals/residential homes etc.
I am qualified in Childcare, Specialised Play, Lamh (similar to Makaton) first aid and basic life support and have years of experience working with children with special needs, children in hospital, children in daycare and home settings.
As I will be in Uni fulltime, weeknight and weekend work is ideal but I can be flexible with hours. I welcome the opportunity to work with families and hope that I can be of some help to parents who need a break or any time away from the home.
