My name is Jacqui, I have been an ofsted registered childminder since Oct 2007. Before that I worked in a school for 17 years as a nursery nurse. I am married and we live close to two local schools, which I am able to do pick ups and drops off to. We are also close to a few local parks which we attend on a regular basis. I deliver the early years foundation stage development ~(EYFS). I take my chosen occupaton seriously, therefore I am always keen to update and refresh my knowledge through relevant training courses. I do have my NVQ4 in childcare and I am an accredited childminder, being able to offer 15 hour placements for 3-4 year olds who don't get a nursery place.
Our daily routine depends on the age of the children within my care, this is a sample of the activities and places we visit which are all subject to change:
8-9 children arive, school,playgroup runs
9-11.30 toddler groups, free play, activity,outing.
11.30-12.30 school /playgroup pick ups and lunch
12.30-4 naps, activity, free play
4 - 5.30 free play, stories, televison
An idea of some of the activities and outings we go on:
Play dough, water, outdoor play, painting, cutting, small world toys etc.

Outings
Farms, picnics and walks in the woods, countryside and parks, beaches, library,museum, art gallery, Maize maze and the dream to name a few.

Play groups
sign along, gym tots, toy library, football, baby ballet, jumping jacks, musical minis etc.
