Hello! My name is Liz and I am seeking a position with and caring for, young children and to develop a close and caring relationship with them. I would hope that a child can approach me to discuss anything that might be bothering them and that I would hold a place in their heart so that they knew they would be safe with me when their primary carers were not available. I love children & babies
& have three boys of my own who still need cuddles sometimes, even
though they are grown up. Two still live with me at home and show no
desire to leave, thank goodness. I am divorced and happy to stay that way. I love being a mother and wish mine were little again sometimes! I believe that children are a gift and enrich our lives and they deserve the best of
love and care. I have a very caring, loving and warm affectionate nature
and believe a quiet cuddle goes a long way. I know that children learn
through practical experience and that it should be FUN! I enjoy reading stories, role play and imaginative and creative play with children. I believe that I would be an asset to your situation and that you be very happy should
you employ me. Above all, I believe the children under my care feel
loved and cherished and secure. I should add that I also love animals. I trained as a nursery/infant teacher and have 17 years experience as a reception class teacher in Early Years education. I took a career break to raise my children and returned to teaching after my divorce ten years ago. I spent the last ten years teaching Reception in the same school until last year when I became a Nanny and love my latest role. Sadly my present post is ending as my poor employer is being made redundant and can no longer afford to keep me. She is more than happy to provide an excellent reference and wishes she could keep me.
I am currently CRB checked .I have lived most of my life in the UK but have lived in Germany where I also taught, and in Hong Kong.
I love the beach (building sand castles, rock pooling and shell seeking) and enjoy reading, painting, swimming, surfing and skiing.
I am a registered volunteer with the Dogs Trust.
