Hello:)
I'm Paris, and i'm currently studying Early Childhood Studies at Plymouth University, looking to be a child psychologist when i've finished my degree. I am a bubbly, lively person who loves children! I enjoy playing with children and encouraging them to learn, including playing educational games such as jigsaw puzzles, counting, reading, writing etc, I would also be willing to help with such things as homework, housework and sticking to any daily routine you may have.
I'm looking to gain more experience with children in my spare time as I have recently finished my first year at University so I have a lot of spare time on my hands! I am a fast learner and am more than happy to learn new things to help me gain new skills. I live at home with my parents and work in a local shop at the weekends so am ideally looking for something on weekdays and in the evenings in your own home.
Experience:
I have volunteered throughout the summer at a local nursery, with interacting, playing and helping to feed children from 6 months to the age of 8. As well as helping them to develop their learning progress. I have also babysat for various neighbours with children ranging from 8 years to 14. This includes looking after children with autism, so am very aware and happy to help with any specific needs a child may have, as well as being cautious of the need of 'down-time' and their own space. I have also interacted with a number of children while carrying out my degree, to help with coursework and to gain more experience with different ages.
Availability:
I am fully flexible for weekdays and evenings until August 2012. However I am unable to work weekends due to work commitments although evenings are considered. I would be available to look after your child in their own home as well as providing my own transport.
