I am a 16 year old student who adores babies and children. I believe that I am a mature, bright, bubbly and quite confident girl. During my spare time, I tend to look after my little brother, as well as younger cousins, as I enjoy spending time with them.
I am in my first year of college studying a Nurse Cadetship, as it will help me on my path to my desired career of becoming a Children's Paediatrician.
Although I have many skills, I am always interested in learning new skills to help broaden the knowledge I already have as this will benefit me in the future.
For my strengths, I would say I am very responsible, determined to succeed, encouraging, polite, kind, caring and also supportive.
From an early age I have taken a big interest in young children, which is why I have always wanted to do something that involves babies in the healthcare section. This interest has increased over the past few years as I have gained more experience of day to day life with younger siblings. I am reliable enough to handle young children on my own due to my past experience.
For my work experience placement, I was put into a primary school where I worked closely with a Year 6 class as a Teaching Assistant. I also spent a day in the Nursery section of the school, helping to look after and teach the little ones.
I have also had the pleasure of helping my mum look after babies and children as she is a childminder. Now I look after relative's children and also family friends children.
Fees
£ 8.00 Pounds Per Hour
The normal rate at which I charge is between £6 and £15 an hour. The price depends mainly on how many babies or children I am looking after. If I am required to stay over for a night, then I would not charge per an hour, I would offer a reasonable amount to charge. However I do also negotiate a price, because I understand not everyone can afford the same amount of money.
