I am 19 and have just finished working at PGL, if you haven't heard of PGL, it is a large company which provides a variety of taster sessions in outdorr activities such as kayaking, canoeing, zip wire, climbing etc. Whilst doing this job, I worked with a large range of children from different backgrounds and ages from 5 to 18. I have a first aid certificate and have a lot of experience working with children. Before working at PGL I also worked as a nanny for two young children of 1.5 years and 4.5 years. I looked after the youngest all day and the eldest after school, I dealt with personal hygiene and feeding as well as sleeps and entertainment. I love working with children and find that they have vivid imaginations which I love to nurture and join in with. I love telling and playing with stories and doing cooking and art with children as well as outdoor activities and other activities.
